Community Resource Network “Workshop to Action” November 18, 2007
Posted by gill in : Uncategorized , trackbackOne of the four Healthy Community Project’s subgroups, the Community Resource Network committee, met on Saturday 10 November 2007 to progress the group’s action and strategic plans, with the aim “to define a plan for a community hub so it becomes a shared vision which will have the potential to empower individuals and unite our community’
By getting together with the broader community the aim is to maximum the usefulness of a proposed community hub through quality management by suitably enthusiastic, committed community members.
Libby Foster faciltated the workshop with valuable contributions from Von Quinn, Jane Blades, Rosemary Girvin, Josephine Lebbing and Gill Sellar , producing a workable action plan.

The Community Volunteer database is well underway with Rosemary Girvin and Jason Heskett-Mills working on data collection and designing a web enabled system to be accessible through our new community portal www.denmark.org.au
